Meet the creator of Rooted Lotus
Hi, I’m Jen, a dedicated yoga instructor and wellness leader with a passion for helping others find balance and peace through the practice of yoga. I believe that yoga is for everyone, and my goal is to make it accessible and enjoyable for all.
My journey with yoga began 9 years ago when I was searching for a way to manage some pretty heavy things in my life, it was a way to manage the stress of it all and connect with my inner self. Over the years, I’ve trained in Ashtanga, Slow Flow, Vinyasa, Yin, and Prenatal Yoga, earning my certification of 200RYT, 500RYT, and RPYT with 8+ years of experience teaching a variety of classes, from beginners to advanced practitioners.
In my classes, you can expect a focus on breath, mindfulness, and alignment, offering a balanced mix of challenge and relaxation. I aim to create a supportive atmosphere where you will feel comfortable exploring your breath and body, regardless of your level of experience.
I teach yoga because I love helping others discover the transformative power of this practice, both physically and mentally. Outside of yoga, I enjoy spending time with my little ones, hiking, and crafting. These things help me feel balanced and stay grounded.
